Marc received Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Molecular Biology from the University of Basel. Subsequently he transferred to ETH Zürich for his Master studies with a major in Biochemistry. For his thesis he joined the group of Paola Picotti to investigate alpha-Synuclein induced cytotoxicity using proteomic tools. Working initially together with Karel he will focus on the elucidation of long range ligand-receptor interactions.
