Nontargeted Profiling of Coenzyme A thioesters

The novel method uses precursor ion scanning on a triple quad instrument to profile all CoA containing molecules. In the paper, we used the approach to further elucidate the partly unknown catabolic pathways of cholesterol in Mycobacterium smegmatis.
