Hannes was born in Switzerland and started studying Biology (chemical focus) in 2005 at ETH Zürich. After graduation in 2008 (BSc) he started a masters in Computational Biology and Bioinformtics (CBB) which he completed in and 2010 (MSc). He wrote his master thesis in the groups of Dr. Lars Malmström and Prof. Dr. Ruedi Aebersold. Since 2010, he is a PhD student in their groups. The main focus of his work is development of algorithms and software for SWATH MS and interference calculations for SWATH / SRM.
