Project Overview

The insulin/TOR pathway is one of the major signaling cascades controlling cell and animal growth, and its deregulation has been linked to a number of severe diseases like cancer or diabetes.
The aim of this project is the identification and functional characterization of novel components of this conserved network in Drosophila melanogaster using mass spectrometry in combination with genetic and biochemical analyses.
