Anna Straessle

Anna graduated in biology at ETH Zurich in 1982. She was working in the field of molecular genetics of antibiotic resistance genes in human pathogens and in molecular diagnosis of Mycobacteria.

She joined the Hafen group in 2002, running the sequencing facility of the Zoological Institute. She is responsible for apprenticeship training at IMSB and technical support to the lab. Together with Katja Koehler she participates in the SSIP-project.
