Dr. Sabine Amon
Sabine studied chemistry at the University of Vienna. There she also carried out her master`s and PhD theses, focusing on the characterization of posttranslational modifications (especially glycosylation) of therapeutic proteins by capillary electrophoresis – mass spectrometry. Afterwards, she worked at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense as a postdoctoral fellow in the field of hydrogen/deuterium exchange mass spectrometry for protein dynamics elucidation. She joined the group of Prof. Aebersold in 2012 as a postdoctoral fellow, her work directed towards chemical crosslinking mass spectrometry of protein complexes.
