Anuli studied Biochemistry at the Federal University of of Technology Owerri, Nigeria. She has an MSc in Applied Biomolecular Technology from The University of Nottingham, England. She investigated the antimicrobial effect of gas species generated by Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) for her MSc dissertation. Anuli enrolled in the Cancer Biology PhD Program of the Life Science Zurich Graduate School in November 2010. During her doctoral study, she examined protein alterations in early-stage colorectal neoplasms using quantitative proteomics, metabolomics, and molecular biology techniques.

Anuli joined the Aebersold lab in March 2015 as a Marie-Heim Vögtlin fellow. In collaboration with the Zamboni lab, she is investigating the roles of specific metabolic pathways in glucose metabolism and tumorigenesis by comprehensively exploring the proteome and metabolome of various cancer cell lines
